Agency: Stranger & Stranger

Based in London, branding agency Stranger & Stranger have an enviable client list of international wine and spirit brands, including Grogger favourite Clos de los Siete. Their website and much of their work has a Victorian copperplate feel, and we especially love the look of Le Grand Noir with its gilded sheep and typographic foil.

Having Damian Hirst – high chief of the YBAs – donate the artwork for your wine label must be something of a coup. But, as an artist who often confronts the viewer with stark images of death, Rolf Harris he ain’t. He certainly wouldn’t be top of our list to promote to chucklesome message of Comic Relief.

Logan Weemala Wines

Last year some Groggers were fortunate enough to have a jolly to the land of backward-footed people (’anti-podeans’ for you etymology fans). Whilst waiting for our connecting flight in Dubai, I was perusing a complimentary copy of Wallpaper* magazine where the Logan Weemala Pinot Gris was featured in a ‘black and white’ feature.
